Design and Engineering
NZ trailer builders are second-to-none in the world when it comes to trailer designs. Our regulations, highway constraints and load restrictions mean that our members need to be innovative when it comes to designing trailers for maximum productivity. Our members offer a range of engineering, design and drafting positions.
Fabrication and Assembly
Our members build a wide range of trailers and truck bodies, requiring fabrication and assembly skills with all types of materials and components. Opportunities include welding, machining, assembly, painting and electrical.
Stores and Procurement
Whether a small store or a larger inventory warehouse, management of componentry and just-in-time purchasing are key to the work-flow of all our production and assembly facilities. Opportunities include procurement, forklift operation and inwards and outwards goods activities.
Production and Operations
Production planning and processes ensure operations run smoothly and delivery times can be met. Resource allocation of activities of employees, materials and production capacity is critical.
