Council recently welcomed a representative from NZTA to discuss a range of projects and developments currently underway across the transport sector.
Discussions covered NZTA's ongoing organisational restructure, changes to the 50MAX operating framework, heavy vehicle productivity initiatives, and the continued development of pre-approved repair guidance.
While there is a significant amount of change occurring within NZTA at present, it was encouraging to hear directly from the team about the work underway and the opportunities for industry involvement. These discussions provide valuable insight into future regulatory developments and help ensure TTMF can continue to represent members' interests throughout the process.
TTMF continues to engage closely with NZTA and will continue to keep members informed as these projects progress.
